Identity and Access Management(IAM) Analyst
Position Responsibilities

The IAM Analyst is responsible for processing user access requests to add, modify or delete accounts for enterprise applications using the IBM Security Identity Manager tool. The IAM Analyst is also responsible for resolving issues referred from the help desk related to user access.

  • Administer access rights and entitlements to IT/IS applications
  • Functional Identity and Access Management SME
  • Analyze all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability
  • Follow and enforce high-availability and resiliency standards on existing infrastructure
  • Fulfill user access requests within established Service Level Agreements (SLA) with a primary focus on quality and accuracy
  • Fulfill requests to IT/IS applications in accordance with the controls and requirements that govern information security access
  • Resolve issues referred from help desk related to security access
  • Assist in defining standards, guidelines, best practices, metrics and continuous validation of best practices
  • Planning and executing high-availability tests  Strong troubleshooting skills to solve unique and complex problems related to infrastructure
  • Expected to learn and deploy new security products as needed
  • Candidate will be expected to work in areas of operational support and implementations
  • Candidate will manage patching and upgrades of security infrastructure
  • Candidate will have strong background on application server tuning
  • Develop pioneering approaches to emerging IAM industry trends
Qualifications / Requirements The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting the IBM suite of access management tools including: IBM Identity Manager, Tivoli Access Manager (including LDAP and Webseal), etc.
  • Firm understanding of authentication and authorization technologies and protocols including: SAML, OATH, OAuth, federation, certificates, multi-factor authentication, and XACML
  • Experience with provisioning, de-provisioning, and managing user access
  • Experience with the following: SQL scripting, shell scripting, PowerShell
  • Strong infrastructure design and documentation skills
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate detailed information
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize work/deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
