Position Responsibilities
The Senior Front End Developer serves as a lead technical resource on the Web & Mobile
development team and participates in all phases of the development life cycle. The Senior
Front End Developer will analyze complex business and technical problems and will shape
and deliver Digital platform. The Senior Front End Developer analyzes, configures and tunes
the front end web application and is considered the subject matter expert on web
technologies. The Senior Front End Developer enforces software development standards
and also mentors junior developers.
Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to production and support
Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products
Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
Working along the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the project/task
Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
Optimizing performance for the apps
Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile/web technologies
Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Attend industry events/conference – both attending and presenting
Should possess good documentation skills
Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project managers
Good client handling skills and excellent communication skills
Requirements
Proven commercial software development experience – desktop and mobile.
Excellent knowledge in information architecture, human computer interaction and usability design principles
A track record of delivering successful consumer and or business products.
Ability to use analytic data and user testing to inform design decision.
A passion for new consumer technology and the emerging media landscape
Ability to multi task and good time management skills
Ability to work on their own and as a part of the team.
Excellent Unit Testing/Usability/QA/scoping and estimation skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with various departments locally and internationally.

Advanced proficiency with the following technologies:
Deep understanding of native JavaScript
Front end web technologies including AngularJS, Node, Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, Ajax
Web development tools and frameworks including.
CSS preprocessing, e.g. LESS.
Front end build tools, e.g. Gulp, Grunt
JavaScript testing frameworks, e.g. Jasmine, Karma
Front end components, e.g. Bower
